Coldstream

Lake and Outdoor Access
This is where Coldstream shines.
- Kal Beach is in Coldstream, on the shore of Kalamalka Lake.
- Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park borders the district, with trails and viewpoints.
- The Okanagan Rail Trail, a 50-kilometre multi-use trail on a former rail line, runs from Coldstream to Kelowna along Kalamalka Lake. Its trailhead is on College Way in Coldstream.
From East Hill, Kalamalka Lake's beaches are only about 10 to 15 minutes by car, and Vernon's multi-use path from the City Centre through Polson Park connects to that same Rail Trail trailhead. So East Hill residents get good lake access too, just not quite at the doorstep.
For winter fun, SilverStar is about 30 minutes from East Hill. From Coldstream, drive time depends on where in the district you live.
